Alejandra Calva will give a presentation at 11 AM discussing key findings of the ACC Hispanic/Latinx Community Needs Assessment.

Beto Mendoza will give a presentation at 3 PM entitled “No mas un Mundo sin Nostros, Social transformation from the bottom, Undocumented (oppressed) and it’s role in social change.” 

Athens, GA is hosting its first ever Social Justice Symposium in January 2017. With help from UGA faculty and students as well as community members, this conference-style event will include many social justice leaders in our local community. There will be talks about a variety of social justice issues, including the topics of race, class, gender, sexuality, employment, housing, and more. Stay tuned for more information!
